Access & Strategy
Overview
OSDU data from Azure Data Manager for Energy (ADME) is processed in Microsoft Fabric through a medallion architecture — Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers — before being made available to consumers.

All base layers are restricted to the platform team. Consumers only ever interact with the final Gold access tables.
Access Model
Fabric Lakehouse does not support object-level permissions or Row-Level Security, so access is controlled through physical data separation and Entra ID group membership.

Consumers do not need access to the Fabric workspace UI. Data is read directly via ABFSS paths pointing to the Gold access table for their group.
