What is the Data Office?
The Data Office is responsible for data governance policies, access management, and data risk assessments on the OSDU Data Platform at Equinor.
What is the production readiness checklist?
A checklist that must be completed and approved before you can get write access to Production. It covers topics like access management, data risk assessments, backup, and schemas. See Production Readiness Checklist.

What is a Data Risk Assessment (DRA)?
Before making data available to end-users in OSDU, the data must be described in the Data Inventory as data IDs. The Data Office assesses whether a data use case assessment is required and ensures records are tagged with the correct LRA-tags.
When should I use a Custom Schema instead of a WKS?
Only create a Custom Schema if no Well Known Schema (WKS) meets Equinor's requirements. Custom Schemas should be proposed back to the OSDU Forum as new WKSs. See Data Governance Reference.
How do I get my application added to a data access group?
Send an email to dadal@equinor.com (Dag Andre) or elibjo@equinor.com (Eli Bjørnevoll) with your app registration name, client ID, and the access group you need. See How to Get Data Access for email templates.
