Production Readiness Checklist

Before you can get write access to production, you must complete this checklist and get approval. This applies to both users and applications (SPNs).

Process

Contact → Meeting → Approval

  1. Contact sbeg@equinor.com (Suzanne Beglinger) or orn@equinor.com (Øyvind Ørnes) to initiate the review
  2. Fill out the checklist below

  3. Schedule a 1-hour review meeting

    Meeting attendees
    • The data producer team (requestor)
    • The relevant data office
    • OSDU Platform Team (Augustine O'hagan / Jan Harald Hole Mortensen)
    • OSDU Data Governance Forum leads (Suzanne Beglinger / Øyvind Ørnes)
    • Geospatial integrity group, if relevant (Monika Zakrzewska)

  4. The meeting will result in either:

    • Mandatory action points to complete before going live, or
    • Action points that can be addressed after going live (checklist approved with comments)
  5. Once approved, show the signed-off document to the OSDU Platform Team
  6. Apply for prod write access — see How to Get Platform Access

QLM Documentation
Verify that all data flows are accurately described and up to date in the Enterprise Data Architecture (QLM).

Risk & Access
Confirm whether Data Risk Assessments (DRA) and Viewer ACLs have been reviewed with the relevant Data Office.

ACL Owner Groups
Assess whether any new ACL ownership groups need to be provisioned for the Production environment.

Reference Data
Evaluate whether any additional reference data needs to be included in your deployment.

Backup and Restore
Confirm whether the platform's backup and restore capabilities meet your requirements.

ADME Data
Verify whether there will be any data generated in ADME that does not have a backup.
check
Device Compliance
If you are ingesting data, confirm whether it comes from an Equinor-approved device.

Support Routing
Define where data-related tickets should be routed (e.g. ServiceNow queue or team inbox).
